Oman Air, in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn (DB), offers its passengers the opportunity to travel to/from 5,600+ DB train stations in Germany to/from Frankfurt & Munich Airports.
To purchase a DB train ticket along with an Oman Air flight ticket, choose “German Railway, Germany (QYG)” in the drop down menu for departure or arrival point.
Choose one way or return journey and class of travel. The appropriate train segment will be included in your itinerary. Passengers travelling in First & Business class on Oman Air flights will be entitled to travel in the 1st class compartment of Deutsche Bahn. Economy class passengers will travel in the 2nd class compartment.

Conditions:

The train fare is already included in your Oman Air Rail & Fly ticket fare.
Rail & Fly segments cannot be added retroactively to an already purchased flight ticket.
Train tickets are valid on all DB trains (except motorail trains, charter-trains, Thalys, Cisalpino) within the DB network. The route travelled must be directly towards the destination.
Train tickets are valid on the day of leaving Germany or/and on the day before; and also on the day of arrival in Germany and the day after.

How to get your DB Rail & Fly train tickets

After issuance of the flight ticket, the rail ticket is made available for check-in and download. For this, open the link https://www.rail-checkin.com
Now enter your name and either flight ticket number or PNR locator and follow the check-in process.
While checking-in you will already select a train connection matching your flight. However, the Rail & Fly ticket can be used flexibly on the day of travel on the selected route without being fixed to a specific train.
If several passengers booked on the same PNR (can be identified by the same booking code/record locator) use the same rail connection, these passengers (max. 5 people) can check in together and then receive a joint ticket.

On board of the train

Show your “Rail & Fly“ ticket, your flight ticket and your ID to the train attendant upon ticket inspection. If you lose your Rail & Fly ticket, you can easily download it again via the respective website until the day of travel.

Important Information

For technical reasons your itinerary automatically shows fictitious train numbers (starting with W2), fictitious departure points (QYG) and fictitious times for the train segment.
Please check departure time of train connections on day of travel. Either https://www.bahn.de or download the DB app or contact a DB travel center.
Ensure that you are arriving in time at the airport. Please note the check-in times of Oman Air at the respective airport and choose a train connection to arrive at the check-in desk at least 2 hours before closure time.
Please also consider that train delays might occur. It is solely the responsibility of the passenger to arrive at the airport in time for checking-in
Oman Air is not liable for any missed flights due to delayed trains.
